The conservation and restoration of the mansion deliver the value of the heritage building and indirectly provide a foundation place for younger generation to learn and experience their history and multicultural heritage. It shown the state of living environment of the rich and famous person at those period of time. This can be seen in its highly detailed cornices, the original door sil, and the French window frames, which best represents the rich, pleasant and ambience of historic residence.

The European stucco elements with Malay designed can be seen clearly in the video. so as the timber work and the plasterwork.
The structure of the stables is maintained. Now, it is used as an office for Penang Islamic Museum.
